I work with high-performing professionals and couples who are navigating some of the most painful and disorienting experiences a person can face — betrayal, disconnection, burnout, loss of intimacy, and the quiet grief of a relationship that used to feel alive. My clients are capable, driven people. They're used to figuring things out. But the skills that make someone successful in a career often don't translate into the vulnerability, repair, and emotional attunement that relationships require. That gap is where I work.
My approach is attachment-informed, systemic, and direct. I believe therapy should feel purposeful — not like you're just venting into a void. We'll work to identify the patterns beneath the conflict, understand where they came from, and build something more honest and sustainable in their place.
I hold a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and have trained in Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Emotionally Focused approaches.
Beyond my clinical work, I bring more than two decades of lived experience navigating marriage, military family life, motherhood, and the foster care system — all of which have deepened my understanding of what commitment, resilience, and repair actually look like in real life. In 2024, I was honored as a Tillman Scholar, recognizing my commitment to service, leadership, and personal excellence.
I earned my Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University and have been a therapy provider since 2024. I am affiliated with South Tampa Therapy in Hyde Park and am under the supervision of Elizabeth Mahaney, LMHC-QS, MFT, Ph.D., Lic #MHC10069. My goal is to help clients achieve emotional balance through effective therapeutic practices.
